I'm in my fifth year of training at Bath College of Psychotherapy and Counselling, studying and practising humanistic and integrative psychotherapy. I have been in practice for three years and worked in the mental health field for four years alongside my training.
Prior to beginning my training I was a storyteller and singer, specialising in the traditional songs and stories of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales as well as the myths of the Levant, and indigenous myths from the now-colonised places of the world. Knowing the songs and stories, living with and sharing them, I have grown a connection with the more-than-human world that I bring into my practise as a psychotherapist. The grounding of being connected to the natural cycle of the seasons and awareness of the more-than-human beings we share our world with guides my work.
I have outdoor space where your sessions can be held at your request (with an indoor space for wet weather). I also have rooms in Glastonbury and Yeovil.
